At the beginning of Leviticus we read elaborate instructions, very precise, given by God to Moses. These deal with offerings for different purposes, including offerings for sin.
When reading these elaborate. precise instructions, we quickly reach the conclusion that sin is serious to God. To Him our transgressions is no small thing.
Over the weekend just past, Easter weekend, we celebrated the offering of the Lamb of God. Jesus’ life was sacrificed for our sins. He was the perfect, spotless Lamb, perfect for such an offering. And He overcame. He suffered and died so that you and I don’t have to. Our sins are dealt with, paid for, sorted out.
“Thank you Jesus!”
